Hi, my name is Rachel and I have a passion for travelling both near and far.  My husband and I enjoy just pulling out of the driveway and seeing where we end up.  Our adventures may take us to the next town or to another continent.  Wherever we end up, I love to share where I have been.  After receiving great feedback from my Facebook posts, I decided to start a blog and share with whoever is interested.

Although travel is so important to me, I still work full time to support my hobby. I have held several positions in Technology, mostly in the Credit and Debit Payments field but have recently moved over to the Business side as a Product Owner within Enterprise Payments. Work-Life balance is so important to me and I am glad I have the right mix to be able to travel as I do. 

I have three siblings, each having their own passion.  My older sister, Jill,  fell in love with Iceland and the Icelandic horse and spends her free time arranging Icelandic tours for people, generally involving the beautiful Icelandic horse. My younger brother, Paul, is building a name for himself on Vancouver Island, where he and his wife Patti lobby for funding  and create programs for at-risk youth and Indigenous Peoples. They have done amazing work with so little funding. 

I have three amazing kids, two fabulous daughter-in-laws, one beautiful grandson and one very special Grand-dog.
